ABOUT FAITH HIGH SCHOOL
OUR STORY
Faith high school located in Aliwal North in the Eastern Cape, was established in 2023 by Mrs Loy. N. Kateregga. Her love for children sees her development special needs and spiritual needs of young adults which resonate with the school mission. Which is to produce a God fearing, Christ centred, disciplined and self – reliant young adults.
The first principal is Mrs. Kateregga, the visionary of the school. In 2023, the school welcomed 65 students in grade 8 with the teaching staff consisting of six (6) teachers and four (4) non – teaching staff members.
In 2024, the school number increased to 118 students in grade 8 and 9, with the increment of teachers to 4 all in total of 10 teaching staff.
In 2025, we have grown as a school to a total number of 182 students from grade 8 to grade 10 with 12 members of staff. This is a testimony of hard work, parent involvement, good governance. This includes the behavioral intervention and therapy measures done at school. This has built student’s confidence, changed their behaviors following the “magic words” in daily interactions being DRO which stands for discipline, obedience and respect.
As Faith High School continues to grow, it remains committed to its founding vision—to nurture young minds, shape future leaders, and uphold Christian values that will guide students beyond the classroom into their future. Through a holistic approach to education, the school fosters intellectual curiosity, personal integrity, and a strong sense of community.

At Faith High School, education goes beyond the classroom. Our wide range of extramural activities—including sports, clubs, and cultural programs—encourages students to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop teamwork and leadership skills. From competitive sports teams to creative and academic clubs, every learner has the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive in a vibrant, well-rounded school community.
